Principal Duties:
- Negotiate contracts with vendors.
- Recruiting, hiring and managing property staff and maintenance technicians.
- Regularly inspect property to ensure it is in good working order.
- Quickly resolve emergency and maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant Keep financial records for property operations (rent rolls delinquency reports, move-ins/move-outs, etc.)
- Create monthly financial reports for ownership.
- Prepare annual budgets and income projections for ownership.
- Analyze profit and loss reports.
- Keep open dialogue with ownership on vacancies, tenants, physical condition of the property and financial issues.
Knowledge & Skills Needed:
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- 5+ years' experience in multi-family rental property management.
- Familiarity with applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations.
- Ability to perform in a busy, multi-tasking work environment.
- Strong interpersonal and business communication skills.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to think logically and evaluate appropriate decisions.
- Computer proficiency including MS Office products.
- Competence with office management software (MRI and Build Link).
- Knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting.
- Maintenance knowledge a plus.
